As you know the Iran-India payment issues are going on and UCO bank is the only bank to settle the payments through L/C.

My queries are:
1)What will be the actual mechanism of payment?
2) What will be the currency for transaction?
3) What if we have the a/c in other bank say PNB then who is liable to pay us the money? UCO will settle or PNB ?
4)How many banks will be involved if we have a/c in other bank?
5) Can we get the payment upfront against L/C or I have to wait for 120 days or the specified period mentioned in L/C?

If a prospective customer(beneficiary),visits bank premises supposedly on 16.10.12 with a cheque in his possession dated 01.8.2012 and wish to open his account for encashment of cheque. Can a banker open the account with such a cheque ? What are the risks associated with it and what protection a banker will get under law if some fraud happens. ?

i have filed form 23AC and 23ACA for my Company by paylater facility but failed to pay for the same within the specified time, and now i have to re-filed such form but while prescrutiny the form an error is shown that your form is already filed by srn no.----- what should i do in such case. plz reply for the same as soon as possible.thanks in advance
