I am 45 year old house wife. Wish to gain knowelege about NPS account(national pension scheme) in detail. Can i open it by my own?. if yes what is the procedure? Can a person have more then 2 NPS account? WIll be helpful; if someone can put detailed insight on it.

The available xls file does not provide for only interest payment during moratorium period. The accounting treatment given is interest is capitalised during moratorium period if not paid. But when interest is serviced during the moratorium period, the calculation is not available in the Xls file till it starts repaying the "quarterly instalment". Can anybody help on quarterly instalment payment plz?

Property joint ownership

I want to buy property on joint name of myself and my wife in gujarat. If I keep first name of my wife and second name of myself in sale deed then is there any benefit. In this property my wife is contributing meagre amount. In future i want to rent out the property so can i show whole rental income as wife’s income as her name is first?

ESIC Payment Debited but not paid

We have just now paid our ESIC Contribution through internet banking. The amount debited from our bank account but is esic website it is still showing unpaid. Please suggest what to do now.

Error 6354

Hi,

while filing the tds return i faced this problem. i opted for new regime but it is showing 0 value somewhere in the Travel concession & HRA....no way to delete it...how can i do the changes? do i need to file it again?

Hi,

While filing TDS for an under construction apartment, I had incorrectly mentioned two values
1. Total Property Value
2. Amount paid

In both these values, I missed out to remove the GST component. Based on these incorrect values, I got a notice for short payment and they have asked to pay the value along with the fine.

For this I had filed a rectification request but it keeps getting rejected with message -
" has not submitted/ attached with the mail required documents which are mandatory to file correction for 26QB to this office as on date. Hence, the application is hereby rejected. You are further requested to file a new correction form along with necessary documents.
Please file the online correction again and submit for approval."

This has happened twice and now I am not sure on what to do. Can someone provide guidance on what can be done?

At present the shortfall is about 2000 and the interest charged is about 400.

TDS in advance

My property is valued at more than 50 lakhs, and I am paying the builder in installments with a loan. The builder requires me to complete the 26QB form and make an advance TDS deduction on future installments, along with providing Form 19B. We are 2 buyers Can you advise me on how to proceed and guide me through the process of filling out the 26QB form for TDS?
