09 July 2024 Hi,

while filing the tds return i faced this problem. i opted for new regime but it is showing 0 value somewhere in the Travel concession & HRA....no way to delete it...how can i do the changes? do i need to file it again?

09 July 2024 Sections 10(5) and 10(13A) is not applicable under the ‘New Regime’. The values for both these should be ‘NULL’ or ‘No Value’ and passed on to the FVU.
If you wish to get these deduction you will have to opt for OLD Regime.
