We are a private limited company. We generally make cheque payment of TDS in SBI. Recently when we sent our person to SBI for TDS payment through cheque. We were informed that TDS payment will be done only through net banking. Can anyone tells us whether we can pay TDS through Cheque since our directors are not comfortable with net banking.

im undergoing an articleship training and have taken leaves of 80 days including 2 months leave for preparation of my second grp of ipcc. so i wanted to know how many days leave would be counted as i m terminating the articleship to join elsewhere. and whether sundays would also be counted???????

There are CFP [Certified Finance Planners] & many other foreign-based qualified professionals who offer these services, but there seems to be nothing to stop a practising CA from this function.

Apparently the answer is Yes, since this would fall in domain of finance consultancy, but wanted to confirm.

Our company is dealing in event management on behalf of companies of abroad. We get the brouchers/collateral from abroad, for which we need to pay custom duty. As we don't have IEC Code yet, so we have to pay a huge amount of penalty for the same. Please suggest us, should we apply for IEC Code. If yes, please suggest us the procedure.
