Land gifted to childrens

One of my clients had purchased pieces of land in his name and the amount for the purchase of such pieces of land was taken as loan from his son, and amount was shown as loans receieved and receivable in the respective books of accounts both are dealing in business of trading in sale and purchase of land. now the client has made a gift deed for all these pieces of land with zero consideration to his son. in such a case how do we deal with the accounting entries and what happens with the loans shown in both the books. what entries need to he passed. i have on so many occasions asked for queries but no reply kindly reply on this occassion

Tax exemption query!

Dear Experts, I am working with a company and already submitted Tax proofs in the month of Dec-14. Due to insufficient savings, there was deduction and company is deducting proportionate of amount Jan to March. However, this month March 14, I have purchased a tax saving policy. In this case, would I be eligible to claim refund. Please assist me accordingly. Regards, Rakesh

Valuation of closing stock.

Sir, why we include full amount of direct expenses like carriage inwards and wages etc. in COST OF GOODS SOLD. My point is that these expenses should be proportionately distributed among COST OF GOODS SOLD and CLOSING STOCK.

Tds liability

we are starting a new partnership firm from 15-Mar-2014

We have paid Professional fees 85000/- on 27-Mar-2014 & paid others small exps.

our turnover upto 31-Mar-2014 is zero.

can we liable to deduct TDS...?

Tds

suppose on apr '15 we being a company receive a bill for the month of march '15 dated : 14.04.15 for a repairing job where tds is to be deducted how we should account for the same in the books. Also when the tds is to be deducted? . plz provide the journal entries
