i want to know whether a CA student can become a member or director of a pvt.ltd company.. or his father's pvt. ltd ...

YES.
A CA student can become a member or director of a pvt. ltd company of anybody.
But later on you can not be appointed as statutory auditor of that company if you continue your membership status.
