Auditor rotation to specify in adt.1

16 January 2015 I am the auditor of pvt. ltd. co.for fy 12-13 and 13-14.(co. incorporated in fy 12-13)

while filing ADT1 for fy 14-15,

1) Specify the tenure of previous appointment(s) of the auditor :- which yr data I have to give whether both yr or only fy 13-14 ??

2) what to write for Number of financial year(s) to which appointment relates ?? that seems auditor can be appointed for more than 1 yr in one AGM resolution.

17 January 2015 HELLO MR. JAYESH,

1. You have to specify the tenure of both year.
2. see the Appointment of auditor can be for a period of 5 years but subjected to ratification done by the members in AGM. so here no. of f.y. is 1 year only

What about letter of appointment can it be more than one year??
So ratification done by the members in AGM every year till eligible to be specific 2 yrs as in 3yr of AGM due to rotation I would be disqualify. So company need not have to intimate to ROC every year.
Pl. clarify my understanding.

22 January 2015 Dear Sir,

letter of appointment is not for more than a year.. the wording is

"The company has appointed your firm as the Statutory Auditor of the company to hold office from the conclusion of current AGM until the conclusion of AGM held in the year 2019 subjected to ratification at every general meeting by the members of the company at such remuneration as decided between the Board and the Auditor"

for a CA as an individual is not more than for a period of 5 years and A C.A. firm cant more than 10 years (2 successive 5 years)
