Articleship dilemma for working professionals

I will shortly be joining a financial services firm after doing my MBA in Finance.
I have developed an interest in giving CA IPCC exam (as CPT is not required for me).
After clearing IPCC what is the roadmap for a working professional for doing articleship?? Am I required to leave my job and search for articleship or my financial service job experience of 3 years will be equal to an articleship?

As per my knowledge, in CA article ship, you can not take exemption on the basis of experience.
So you will give full time attention in article ship, if you are doing job.

but incase of icwa practical training is allowed in industries also..
So if you want to continue a professional course you may prefer to do icwa..
i am not aware of icwa practical training
