14 July 2008 Hi all,
I am in a fix over my articleship.I cleared my PE-II exams in may'07 and started my articleship on 8th oct 2007.however i had to take a transfer from my last firm to my current firm.So in the month of feb i wasnt registered anywhere.However from march i was on with another firm.Now does this mean that my attempt of ca final which is Nov 09 would get delayed.Kindly help me out of this.

16 July 2008 Your total articleship period should be 24 months as at 31st October 2008. If it is so then fill the form. This includes the leave taken. The month in which you were not registered is excluded.
2007
24+30+31=85 days
2008
11 months
Thus total is 13 months and 25 days
2009
Till 31-10-2008
it will be 10 months i.e. 23 months 25 days
I have made approximate calculations. If you have five more days in my calculation you can appear. It is better to check with ICAI.
