22 July 2016 Is any person directly can be appointed as MD/WTD in private company?

Our company want to appoint MD/WTD but person not holding directorship in the company whether we can direct appoint him MD/WTD or not.
If yes than Plz help with process and requirement of forms filing with MCA.

24 July 2016 See first appoint him as additional director and within the period of 30 days, appoint him MD/WTD by organising an EGM. the copy of appointing additional director need not to be filed to ROC. its a practical process. Moreover, the person must have valid DIN before appointed as additional director. otherwise the date on which he/she got DIN no. can be taken as DATE OF APPOINTMENT AS ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR
