i want to amend ST from one service to other service and i am providing only one service can i do if yes i want the notification for the same.

In normal Service tax registration amendment, you can apply for amendment in St-1 online

But the jurisdictional officer is saying that you can add the service but you cant replace the service.
i want the reference or supporting for the same to show him that you can amend the service.

Ofcourse. you can only add the services. in case you are not having such service, the left as Nil services.

by mistake i had applied for Detective agency service but actually i am providing manpower supply service i want to change the same to manpower service. so i want to replace the service and not delete the same because what is wrong need to be corrected.

Act is allowing to add the service, not remove, you can surrender the entire certificate and apply for fresh registration only

But i have already paid ST under the wrong service around Rs. 50000/- will i get the paid tax transfer to new service?

Correction possible with only by the department, you can request with the Jurisdiction officials with details
