an employee wanted to claim insurance premium paid under 80C but its actually paid by his husband account and policy name also husband name only. Whether she claim deduction or not ?..

Wife can claim deduction u/s 80C for insurance policy in the name of husband. But the premium should have been paid by wife. Here the premium is paid from husband's ac wife can't claim it.
