With holding tax

Hello Everyone,
We have a client in Singapore i.e. M/s ABC Pte Ltd (to whom we are giving service) i.e technical ser vice, He want to transfer funds to our company incorporated in India i.e BCD Pvt. Ltd. for the services rendered to the singapore company.
Now he wants us to tell the with-holding tax rate with that country. I tried but was unable to search the rate at which he would be deducting our with-holding tax for their country and can we take as TDS in our TDS receivable from the department.
Please expert tell me the rate also provide the link which you have confirmed the rate. Thanks in advance.!!

The withholding tax in Singapore for such services is 17%, applicable corporate tax.
Only relief can be claimed in the return for such withholding tax. You can't consider in your books as TDS receivable.

But Sir, As per the provision of DTAA with Singapore, the Rate mentioned there is 10%. So what would he deduct for us and deposit in his country, 10% or 17%

Rate as per DTAA is applicable, hence deduct 10%.
