23 January 2015 My client Mr X is owner of the house and he has given power of attorney to his daughter

his daughter gave this house to bank for monthly rent (rent value 25000 PM)and rent amount is credited in daughter Bank Account

both father and daughter are income tax assesses

now bank people asking PAN Card for deducting TDS

now whose PAN card should give in bank
whether Father Pan Card Or Daughter Pan Card

24 January 2015 POA does not convey any right or title or create any interest in respect of such immovable property in favour of such person. So Father's PAN should give.

24 January 2015 POA gives powers of ownership, not the title of ownership ,Further as provision of income tax related to house property, actual owner to be taxed for property, hence pan card of father has to be provide for TDS purpose.
