Dear Sir/Madam,
Who can use the terms "As per my report of even date" in the financial statements? And what these words denotes exactly? Whether only CA should use it or even a Tax Consultant can also use these terms in Financial Statements of his clients?

"English" can be made use of by anyone who knows ENGLISH. "even date" is a typical terminology of olden ENGLISH which simply menas "same" So to say...as per my report of SAME date. (It has nothing to do with ODD ness or EVEN ness of dates)

As per your saying, this line can be used by anyone like "English" can be made use of anyone who knows ENGLISH. But a Tax Consultant does not prepare any report like CA and only prepares financial statements. So, is it appropriate for a Tax Consultant to mention this line in his Financial Statements?

Being a CA, I also consider my profession to be SUPREME. But that does not mean that OTHERS can not prepare and make any REPORT. Audit report is the MONOPOLY of CA....but other reports.....like management report, review report, forensic reports, visit report etc etc...... can very well be prepared by other people.
