I am salaried person having income below 5 lac & I am claiming H.R.A also.
Please guide me which itr to be filed .

You are required to file ITR1 provided you do not have exempted income more than Rs 5000.

Thanks for your guidelines, but please explain in brief what do you mean by exempted income more than Rs.5000.

any exemption available to u under sec 10 like for hra exceeding 5,000 then file itr2.

No. HRA is not exempted income. Its allowed as deduction. So even if HRA is more than Rs 5000 you can file ITR1. Dividend is an example of exempted income.
