01 July 2010 i want to know what is the ITC list issued by sales tax department. MY clients assessment is complete but the officer is asking to verify whether the tax paid by us while purchasing goods from the creditors is paid by the creditor. and the officer says that if the challan and return is not filed by the creditor, then the tax for the same has to be paid by us. I want to know if this is genuine or if the officer is taking a bribe... pls support

01 July 2010 This is genuine you will verify by purchase bill, and party ledger confirmation submit to department. in detail which input tax credit detail required.

01 July 2010 BUT WHY SHOULD WE TAKE THE EFFORT TO CHK THE CREDITORS RETURN AND HIS CHALLAN. HE IS REFUSINIG US TO SHOW WITHOUT A LEGAL NOTICE AND THE OFFICER IS NOT ISSUING US A LEGAL NOTICE.
