Dear Friends,
X company produced a film (Commercial movie) and want to sell to the distributors.
1) VAT is applicable or
2) Service tax applicable.
3) Both VAT & Service tax will be applicable.
Please advise.

1 No VAT applicable it is not a sale.
2 No service tax applicable if it is given to cinema halls. Service tax applicable if it is given to TVs.
3 Only service tax applicable as stated above.
