Pl.clarify whether VAT Credit on airconditioner purchased for lab/factory can be claimed under TNVAT rules.

As per clause (c ) of sub-section(7) of section-19 of the TNVAT Act,2006 No registered dealer shall be entitled to input tax credit in respect of purchase of air-conditioning units unless the registered dealer is in the business of dealing such units.
thus ITC cannot be claimed on this
