We are the electrical material dealer.

we are supplying goods in Tamilnadu. But Billing to Noida, U.P. whether the Vat4% is applicable or Form C is applicable.

Please clarify to us.

22 January 2011 You have not mentioned , in which state you are situated.

If material moved inter state, it is CST transaction, no matter to whom billed.

I am in Chennai I supplied goods to Kanchipuram Dist. But Billed to Noida. Shall I prepare bill based Vat 4%. or CST 2% against Form C.

That is only my doubt.

since the transaction leads to interstate transaction.

you need to charge 2@ against C form

or local rate of tax with yout c form
