10 January 2012 sir,

I am in CA final stage.But also enrolled for CS during my articles.
but i didnt realised that I was suppoose to take permission for the same from the institute.
But now my articleship is over and I have come to know that i was required to take permission for doing CS.

So i went to the institute for the same.
but the refused to entertain me saying since my article is over nothing can be done now and i will have inform them at the time of obtaining membership.
But now my concern is that every dely will increase the ban period on me.

what can i do.pleas ehelp??

11 January 2012 At the time of admission institute provides a Pospectus which mentions all the relevant provision.when a candidate takes admission it is assumed he had gone through all the relevant provision and if any fault or error is discovered later on, the student is responsible.

11 January 2012 dude you need to contact ICAI.

I believe your matter can be condoned. Although the permission is required for all kind of course yet pursuing CS can be allowed since it is a correspondence course.
The idea behind putting restriction is to make sure that article does not misses traing to attedn college. But if you prove you were attending office regulary and ur study did not hamper your articleship.

you need ot convince ICAI with good logic. good luck.
