30 May 2011 What is the procedure in case bonus remains unclaimed for a period more than 6 months? Are there any provisions in the Bonus Act also if the employee is not covered by Bonus Act.

30 May 2011 According to me unclaimed bonus is to be deposited with the State Labour Welfare Board after a specific period of waiting under the provisions of State Labour Welfare Fund Act & therefore first see which of the State Labour Welfare Fund Act is applicable in your case & then go through the procedure for deposit of this amount with the Board in that Act & Rules.
