Hello All
I want to know if Director A of the private limited co limited by shares transfer 2000 Equity Shares to HUF, is there any board resolution to be passed before or after the transfer. If there is any then kindly forward to me at budhiraja.sanjay@rediffmail.com.

Hi
The Company of whose shares the director is going to transfer will call a Board Meeting to approve the transfer. No further meting is required for director to transfer his shares.
Hindu undivided family is represented by its Karta. The Companies Act does not prohibit membership of Hindu Undivided Family. In case of HUF, the shares can be registered in the name of 'A' as Karta of HUF.
