25 May 2012 Dear sir,
i am an ipcc student and joined my articleship on 01-01-2012, but now i am not finding right atmosphere to work there, so can i take transfer from my ca and at the time of joining i had filled my artile registeration form also, so is the transfer applicable , and if so, please tell me ASAP.

25 May 2012 Transfer is allowed only in special cases.

1. Due to transfer of parents to another city.
2. Due to medical problems.
3. Any other relevant reason.

You have to obtain a written permission from the Institute for taking transfer. For this you have to write a letter to the Institute along with the recommendation of your employer.

25 May 2012 Karthik, an IPCC student can take any number of transfers freely during his 1st year of artcileship.
I had joined my articleship on 14th Feb 2011 and then I took transfer on 8th August 2011.
My transfer is successfully registered.
No prior approval required in the 1st year.
