What is time limit for issue of notice u/s 143(2).

Notice u/s 143(2) shall be served upon assessee before expiry of six months from the end of the financial year in which the return is furnished.
Please note the point "SERVED". Even if notice is issued before 6 months but the same is served after the expiry of 6 months the notice will be void.
