Company ABC Ltd. is Paying Rent for Premises Rs. 150,000/-p.a. for A.Y. 2011-12 and Rent Paying for Godown Rs. 2,40,000/-p.a.. and deducting on Godown Rent but not on Premises Rent. Should ABC Ltd. deduct TDS On Premises Rent.

If payee is same in both cases and you are deducting TDS u/s 194I on godown rent then you need to deduct TDS on premises rent as well since the limit of Rs 180000/- p.a. is to a single payee and not in respect of single property.
