Since the last date of TDS return for 4th qtr falls on sunday ir 15.05.2011

It wont attract penalty. The penalty is at the discretion of the AO. It is not mandatory. In case you receive show cause notice for filing the return on 16th May, then you may represent the AO for the same and seek relief owing to the due date falling on sunday.

No penalty will be attracted. TIN FC remain closed on Sunday. SO you will have remedy.
