08 May 2012 i hav prepared form 16 in my software and filed tds return & i hav downloaded 16 from tin nsdl. ..m it is showing nly tds deducted amt , salary is nt mentioned anywhere is it is nt showing salary details anywhere is it okk..??

as per my cal'n i hav deducted right amt..

14 May 2012 It is mandatory to download only Form 16A from the NSDL website.

It is better to generate Form 16 from some software so that details of salary and deductions are provided in the certificate.
