Dear Sir/Madam,
we have issued AMC cheque Rs.52800/- (AC services) we need to deudct TDS or not. Pls suggest.

The provisions of Sec 194C would apply.
Maintenance contracts of routine in nature which include supply of spares etc., shall be covered U/s 194C. If it is in the nature of techinical services are rendered, Sec 194J would apply instead of Sec 194C - Circular No.715 dt 08/08/1995
