15 May 2014 i have received a demand notice of late filling fees of tds return (Non Salary).
now problem is that under which section it will be deposited while it is mandatory to select section while depositing tds online

15 May 2014 U must have to see it from the justification report in traces. Then u must deposit it under respective section.

15 May 2014 Late filing fee to be deposited u/s 234E. There is a specific place for filing the amount u/s 234E in ITNS281.

16 May 2014 just select coresponding section then you enter amount in 234E fee coloumn and submit

17 May 2014 Coresponding section means, For ex: if you filed TDS Return under group of 194J , 194C, etc., you may select any one of section in group of sections, then you shall input amount in 234E column and submit.
