Tax deducted by 20%

one of my frnd Is govt. employee and not having pan card at the time of salary due...so the tax deducted was by 20per. but now hi has a pan and want to claim that TDS by filling return...but the problem is that 26AS is not update due to not having pan card...then what should I do for claiming TDS....?????

dear nitesh,
you just need to request your employer to revise the TDS return with your PAN details provided therein. Thats it...nothing else..
