whether tax audit date has been extended or not??

Punjab and Haryana high court has directed CBDT to extend the date to 31/10/2015. Delhi and Rajasthan hogh courts have followed the same.

In the case of Vishal Garg & Ors. Vs. Union of India & Anr., Punjab & Haryana HC instructed CBDT extend due date of Tax Audit cases to 31st October 2015 from existing 30th September 2015.

CBDT has said that it will issue notification by tomorrow after noon.

Vide its order dated 30.09.2015 CBDT has extended due date only for the state of Haryana, Punjab , Union Territory of Chandigarh and Gujarat.
