16 February 2013 Bank deducted tax on interest on F.D @ 20% without quoting PAN despite I had provided them copy of PAN Card. Now, Tax is not reflecting in my 26AS. Bank is not correcting T. D. S. returns and has not issued me any Form 16A. How to take credit of T. D. S. if T. D. S. is not reflecting in Form 26AS and if there is no way, What action can we take against the bank to make it correct T. D. S. return for reflection of T. D. S. in my Form 26AS.

16 February 2013 Request to Bank either revise the return of respected quarter or paid this amount to you.
Because you have provided your PAN Number hence, it is bank's liability to revise the return after getting PAN.

16 February 2013 When PAN no. is not provided by deductee then deductor is bound to deduct TDS @20%. May be bank has not received your pan card copy so deducted TDS @20%. Ask the bank to revise TDS return if bank is neither revising TDS return nor is providing copy of TDS certificates then yoy may file a case against bank for assesse in default.
