One of my client has surrendered his service tax registration certificate.
Do he will receive any intimation for acceptance of the same.

Yes surrender should be with the returns upto date and in writing. If services not upto the taxable lmit and exemption claimed the same maybe made clear in the letter.

Sir, my query is whether my client will receive any written communication from the department regarding the acceptance of surrender of certificate.

how can your clint will receive notice from department. there are number of clients having your registration number. How department will define your client.
