Can anybody tell me the procedure, steps and eforms for surrender of DIN of a Director.

07 August 2014 You may find relevant details related to surrender of DIN in Rule 11 of The Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014.

For cancellation of DIN you have to file form RD-1.

Main attachments of E-form RD-1 are:

1. Declaration in Rs. 25 non-judicial stamp paper that DIN has never been used and he/she has never been appointed as director in any company.
2. Form DIR-5
3. Identity proof like PAN Card/Voter ID/ Passport/Driving License
4. Proof of Residence like Electricity Bill/Phone Bill/Bank Account statement/ Driving License/Voter ID/Passport.
