Any body Please Clerified me in applicability of Stamp duties regarding:

1. for issues of Shares
2. For Issues of Debentures
3. For transfer of Shares &
4. For Transfer of Debentures..

04 March 2010 In Gujarat, For issue of shares and debentures, Re. 1 for every Rs. 1000/- market value. This varies from state to state. Hence, please refer to your state stamp act.

For Transfer of shares: 25 paise for every Rs. 100 of market value. For debentures, I will have to refer.

whether transfer of debentures need to file any deed like transfer of shares,? or mere letter containing is sufficient for that?
