My assessee had given Rs. 1 Crore for sponsorship of Common Wealth Game. Whether it is an allowable expenditure under business or profession.?
Whether the payment is liable to TDS? IF YES THEN UNDER WHICH SECTION.and give the reference of source of law.

sponsorship of sports and games in India is deductible u/s 80 G.
i dont think TDS is applicable on this.
