my total income will be Rs. 188000. kindly tell me how much tax pay.

23 February 2012 If you are a woman or senior citizen you need not pay any income tax as the income amount is below exemption limit.

If you are a male individual not being senior citizen, you need to pay income tax @ 10.3% on Rs. 8000/- as basic exemption limit is Rs. 180000/-.
