Sign on form 112 for Mcom & time period

Is it necessary that 112 form for Mcom need to be signed by the one under whom one is registered for articleship or else any one one the partners of the firm under which i am registerd or by any CA it will do?

Also what is the time limit after registration of Mcom to submit the form 112 to ICAI?
