sir can i use Gujarat SGST for payment of up Maharashtra SGST??
Actually my question is that sir I m valuer of real estate and i provide valuation services to bank/FI regarding property so in that case suppose property location is Gujarat and service reciver (bank) located in Maharashtra in that I have to pay gst 18% (9% cgst and 9%sgst) so in such can Maharashtra bank eligible to take credit if yes which credit sgst or cgst or both??

No way......... You can't......
If you transfer your goods/services to your own maharashtra branch by raising interstate invoice then you can use your Gujarat sgst to set off Gujarat GSTIN igst which is ITC to maharashtra GSTIN as IGST and with this IGST ITC you can set off your maharashtra's sgst as well as cgst.

but why do you need such an adjustment. can you please give an example of above. we are only liable to pay SGST of our own state. why would other state liability arise.
