16 November 2012 dear sir ,
i have one query regarding service tax return suppose due to some past error & non proper filling of service tax return service tax officer charged interest and penalties both on us & we paid

(suppose it was for F.Y 2008-2009 & 2009-10)

so my question is shall i show these penalties & interest on this years service tax return, means in F.y 2012-13 because i paid these amount in may' 2012 if yes than in which column i have to show?

and for f.y 2012-13 also i have paid some interest on late payment

You need to show them in your return. In ST3 form, there is column for penalties as well as Interest. So, fill the details there along with interest of 2012-13. Do mention the Demand order/Adujudicating order No. on the next page.

19 November 2012 but sir in which row becuase current years interest and penalty i will going to show in row no.

vii) interest paid
viii) penalty paid

what about previous years interest and penalty in which row i have to show it

and second thing

i do not have any source document so what detail should i fill
on that column

pls help
