Service tax on survey fees

10 February 2015 Dear All, we (cab company ) asked one of marketing agency to do survey and that has been completed.

Now the issue is they are charging service tax @ 12.36% on bill i.e;amount paid to agents to collect report + 10% agency charge. Is it acceptable.?

Is there any service tax reversal mechanism for this.?

10 February 2015 Service Tax on Survey Service is 12.36% and additional 10% agency charges is there own value addition not as per service tax.
