Dear sir,

is service tax charge on renting immovable property ?
if not when is applicable & is applicable in only Delhi region or outside Delhi. Is TDS Will be deduct or not

07 June 2009 As on date after the DHC decision as well as SC not providing for the stay but admitting the appeal the matter sems be to substantially in favour of the assessees.
Whether in Delhi or Outside not much differecne now.
Landlord who do not pay should ensure that they intimate the revenue under a dated acknoweldgement.
