I am running manufacturing company and having service tax credit in my balance sheet as receivable. i have also debit balance in my excise .. can i claim service tax credit in cash from service tax department as refund.....

You have mentioned that credit balance of Service tax. pls. confirm whether this is advance or excess service deposited with department or input credit of service tax. As per service tax rule you can not claim refund against input credit but you can adjust your service tax and excise liability after confirming eligibilty of cenvat credit.

I have sifficient balance in excise so not service tax paid on input service credit need to realized as refund back in cash so that i can convert my receivble in cash
