27 April 2015 Dear all expert
i have one doubt in my mind which i am gonna clear it out...
suppose i have issued invoice on 27/4/2015 ST 12.36% and if on 1/7/2014 the ST rate has been changed 14%. the payment of my invoice has receipt on 1/8/2015. in this case do we need to pay ST at 12.36% or 14%

plz guide

27 April 2015 i think this doubt wil clear perfectly with the notifications came along with new rate

for until and now i can say that payment wil b with 12.36 % rate... because once u had issued bill thats all ok

27 April 2015 no you didn't got my Query. actually i want to know.. suppose i have issued invoice on 27/4/2015 and payment is received on 1/8/2015. if the ST tax rate has been changed in the middle of this said transaction suppose on 1/7/2015 the now changed rate has been effective. in this case do i need pay service tax by 12.36% which i have charged in invoice or by 14%

27 April 2015 You have to pay Service Tax @12.36% i.e at the rate prevailing on the date of issuing invoice.
