Can you help me, I have a question of about Service tax related:

Servicetax is applicable on Office rent?If yes then give me Rate and How much amount on?

I have paid our office rent monthly 95,295/-

03 September 2009 Ever since the Delhi High Court gave its decision that rent is not a service there is confusion whether service tax is applicable or not The Dept has appealled against the decision in case the High Court decision is upheld the Dept will have to refund the ST collected
