pl help me. suppose A matrial despatch in a march 2010 qtr. The buyer received the material in April 2010qtr. and can the party issue the c form for april 2010 qtr. is there any provision under sales tax Act.

AS PER MY KNOWLEDGE PARTY CAN ISSUE C FORM FOR APRIL 2010 QTR

Act is silent in this regard. However if the purchase has been booked in April 2010. C form will be issued in april 2010 itself. There is no bar in this regard. however every one should avoid this situation , becoz, it create problems to suppliers in their assessment.
