If someone has yet not filled his I.Tax return for the A.Y.09-10,10-11 but now he wants to file return for the A.Y.11-12,can he do so ?Also whether he can file return for the previous years?will there be any consequences?

1) Yes return for Ay 2011-12 can be filed.
2) Return of Ay 2010-11 can also be filed along with return of Ay 2011-12. Return of Ay 2009-10 can not be filed as the same is time barred. Last date of return filing for Ay 2010-11 is 31.03.2012.
2) Return of Ay 2010-11 can also be filed along with return of Ay 2011-12. Return of Ay 2009-10 can not be filed as the same is time barred. Last date of return filing for Ay 2010-11 is 31.03.2012.
