09 January 2012 Hello Every one.

Can Any one guide me the way in case if an assesee had filed his ITR online after due date i.e. it is belated return, but without seeing Form 26AS and later on he finds that some amount of TDs had been deducted by Bank on account of Interest from FDR's. The assesee had shown such Interest on FDR in his return but had not claimed the TDS on such income. Moreover the assesee had also not send the hardcopy of the ITR to Banglore CPC.
Can he get back the refund of his TDS by filing revised return or if not then what are the options available to him?

09 January 2012 The hard copy of ITRV should be sent to CPC if 120 days have not expired.

CPC will process the return and not give credit of TDS.

On receipt of intimation u.s 143(1), file online rectification application and claim the TDS.
