27 December 2013 Dear Experts,

I need to form a trust.I need to know following:-

1.Fee to be charged under Indian Trust Act and the time period
2.Fee charged and time limit for getting 80G Registration and Section 11 Registration.

Kindly revert asap.

First of all, a charitable trust is not governed by the provisions of the Indian Trust Act, which applies only to the family and private trusts.

the provisions of the Bombay Public Trust would apply.

you have to additionally register under section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax by applying in the prescribed form.
